Would you ever meet someone that you had met on the net, a member of the opposite sex?

Yes I've met up with lil minx, and she is now my best friend, but had she been a bloke, then the answer would have been no, and I wouldnt have met up. Even now, I wouldnt meet up with a bloke that I had met on the net.

have to say i did meet someone on the net this year and now we are having a baby. we have had our ups and downs. more downs tho. All i can say to it is i dont regret doing it. however i do keep asking myself is it only the baby keeping us sort of together as i hardley ever see her.
what im trying to say is. i dont think its how we meet people its how well thay get on . chemistry is the word i was loking for. i'll shut up now.

I would agree with the chemistry bit, but I think its also why some of us join sites like ours. Some people join intent on finding that certain someone, some join for friendship and to have a laugh, some of us are just down right flirt addicts ;)

i suppose the only thing about meeting somone off the net i have any issues with is the security sie of it. not knowing the real peron you are going to meet ect.. i mean how do you know im not an escaped mental patient. rolleye1

i have made a few male mates on the net and one femail on sites like this.
but when i went loking to meet someone i went to a dating site.

see for me it gives an insight of who you are online, and you have an idea of what I am like online, but I dont think we can honestly truely *know* someone just from knowing them online.
